In Year 4 and 5, we’ve been learning all about road safety, including the Green Cross Code. We’ve been taught to stop, look, listen, and think before crossing the road. We also learned how to cross safely at zebra and pelican crossings, waiting for the green light or checking that the road is clear. We also discussed the yellow zig-zag lines outside school, which help keep us safe by stopping cars from parking too close to the crossing. This way, we can always make sure it’s safe to cross at the right places!
