Sunday 5th July 2020
Dear Parents/Carers,
Late today, we were advised by Public Health England that there has been a confirmed case of COVID-19 within our school. To protect pupils, families and staff we have taken the decision to close our school from tomorrow for the rest of this term. Your child’s teacher will contact you tomorrow to offer advice and answer questions you may have.
Thank you for your support and we hope you understand that the health of everyone is of the utmost importance.
We advise that you continue to follow the Government guidance on www.gov.uk.
Take care and stay safe, Mr Urry

We are delighted to welcome to the website for St Stephen's Church of England Primary School.

St Stephen’s CE is a popular and thriving church school in the West Bowling area of Bradford where parents, staff and governors work closely together as a school family to  make sure that all pupils have a positive experience and achieve their full potential.

Our ethos builds on the Church of England foundation of the school, promoting the belief that every individual has the right to be nurtured so that they can grow and flourish in their lives.

The dedicated staff team at St Stephen's provide a wide range of lessons and activities in order to enhance learning. We work hard to make sure that all our pupils, regardless of gender, class, additional support need, religion or ethnic heritage have equal access to a broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum and are provided with opportunities to develop their sense of self-worth, increase their self esteem and grow in confidence.

Keeping our pupils safe is one of the most important aspects of our work and we take Safeguarding very seriously, if you need any further information please see our Safeguarding page or click this link to visit the NSPCC website directly.

We hope you enjoy exploring our website. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any questions about our school.

You can ring our administration team and they will gladly help if you have any queries.

Mr Urry (Headteacher)

New school uniform

Many parents have been asking about our new uniform and whether it will be available for September. As you know we have been busy with Lockdown and our plans to launch the new uniform for September have been put on hold temporarily. We are therefore relaxing our dress code up until the holidays and from September because we do not want you to buy any new uniform. We will contact you when we have everything arranged but this will be in the Autumn term. In the meantime the children can wear non-uniform or their old uniform if you prefer. Thank you. Mr Urry.
