This week our nursery children have been busy learning all about farms!

We explored small world farm setups, using our imaginations to create our own farmyard stories. 

In our sensory area, the children enjoyed mark making in cornflour mud, developing their early writing skills in a fun and messy way!

The water tray was full of excitement as we washed the muddy farm animals, talking about how farmers care for their animals. 

We also learnt about the different foods that come from farms, and how they get from the farm to our tables.

A fantastic week of exploring, discovering and learning through play! 🐷🐮🌽
