YR 4 Juicing Workshop

Year 4 learnt about the importance of trees and locally grown food. 

We had the opportunity to experience apple juicing! Children had to carefully select and wash the apples for juicing. We ground the apples into small pieces  and then put them into a special press to squeeze out all the juice. We made and drank delicious juice from local apples.
