We will be celebrating our 23rd Apple Day on Sunday the 15^th of October from 12-4pm at Bowling Park Community Orchard. Bowling Park Allotments. Bowling Park Drive. BD4 7ES.

This annual, family friendly, community event brings people together to celebrate locally grown fruit and produce. There will be apples, chutneys and jams, cakes, hot drinks and apple juice available for sale.

There will also be  Falapples (an apple based falafel) on sale, in celebration of the day.

Entry is free and includes free art and craft activities and games, provided by Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and BEES.

There will be advice about fruit growing, including an opportunity for you to bring any mystery apples, so they can be identified by our apple expert! If you would like to take advantage of this, you will need to bring three apples, one with a bit of twig and a few leaves.

Visitors can also have a go at juicing using our traditional apple press.
