YR 5 Conditional Statements

In this lesson of year 5 computing, children have been implementing conditional statements into their programs.

Conditional statements allow sections of code to run only if the value is true.

Children programmed their joint module to move in a specific direction when the cursor keys were pressed, therefore giving the user full control of the joint module’s movements.

In addition to this, we also programmed the light on the joint module to change colour when the cursor keys were pressed.

To top this off, children then used the Lego attachment and added some Lego bricks!
