YR 4 Computing: Audio Visualisers

In this week’s computing lesson, Year 4 created their own audio visualisers – which are graphics that respond to sound.

Using the microphone as an input, the children programmed their sprites to react to different sound levels. Louder sounds created bigger visual changes, bringing their designs to life in real time.

The class showed great creativity, experimenting with different sprites and elements. It was fantastic to see their excitement as they tested their projects using their voices and sounds around the room.

A brilliant lesson combining coding, creativity and fun!
