In our second Bee-Bot lesson, Year 1 began creating their own simple algorithms (a set of instructions in order).
🐝 Year 1 Programming – Bee-Bot Lesson 2! 🐝
We rolled a die and programmed our floor robots to move forwards the same number of spaces. The children carefully counted each press of the button and remembered our important rule: Clear → Code → Go!
Once we were confident moving forwards, we challenged ourselves to move the Bee-Bots backwards too.
