She delivered a powerful whole-school assembly that truly captured the hearts and minds of both children and staff, followed by thoughtful and engaging Q&A sessions.

To make the day even more special, our Year 5 children visited the Alhambra Theatre to watch the stage adaptation of The Boy at the Back of the Class — brought to life brilliantly from Onjali’s much-loved novel. The children were completely captivated and it was wonderful to see literature inspiring empathy, discussion and imagination beyond the classroom.

We are also proud that Onjali is featured in Adventure Four of Leaf Through a Good Book, making this visit even more meaningful for our pupils.
