This week in Computing, Year 1 learnt how to stay safe online using the Internet Traffic Light.

The children learnt that:

• 🟢 Green websites are safe and just right for them

• 🟡 Yellow means slow down and ask a grown-up

• 🔴 Red means stop – the website or app is not for children

Through discussion, actions and a fun poem, the children learnt what to do if something online makes them feel unsure. They showed great understanding of how to stop and ask an adult for help.
