This term, Sycamore Hub have been exploring the themes of autumn, growth, change and harvest.

Children have experimented with autumn colours through a range of creative activities including handprints, apple printing, collages and finger painting. We have loved sharing three wonderful autumn-themed stories — Pumpkin Soup, Leaf Man and Henry’s First Autumn.

Our learning has also included some hands-on experiences: we carved pumpkins and made our own delicious pumpkin soup, created clay hedgehogs using sticks and enjoyed printing with autumn leaves.

More recently, we have been learning about the Festival of Light, creating beautiful light collages and colourful Rangoli patterns to celebrate this special occasion.
