Staying Safe Online: Phishing Awareness

Year 6 pupils recently took part in an online safety lesson about phishing and online scams. We learnt how scammers pretend to be trusted people or companies to trick others into sharing personal information.

The class explored examples of phishing messages and shortened links, discussing why they can be risky and how they hide where a link really goes. Pupils also thought about what scammers want, such as passwords, personal details and money.
