Dear Parents and Carers,

Happy New Year and Welcome Back!

We hope everyone had a relaxing holiday and lovely Christmas if you were celebrating.  It has been great to see all the children again this week and thank you for getting to school even on the icy mornings.  Attendance has been good for the first week after a holiday.

Toddler Group

There is a change to the time of toddler group.  Toddler group now meets 10:30 until 12:30 each Friday morning in the Orchard.  Please speak to Miss Lewis (Nursery Teacher) if you are interested in coming along.

Reception 2026

A reminder that the deadline to apply for a Reception school place for September 2026 is Thursday 15^th January.  If you need any support with this then pop along to Parent Cafe on Wednesday morning or speak to one of our Early Years teachers.

Y4 Gurdwara Visits

On Tuesday 13^th January, Priestley class will be visiting a local Gurdwara as part of their RE learning about world faiths.  McMillan will be visiting on Thursday 15^th January.  Please log into your Arbor app and give parental permission.  The visit is during the school day and there is no cost.

Panto

Next Wednesday afternoon all the children will be watching the annual panto at St Stephen's Church.  This year is Beauty and the Beast.  Do ask them about it when they get home.
