ISSUE 100 - 21st November 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,

Attendance 🎉

Thank you for your support with sending your children to school each day and on time.  St Stephen's has been recognised by the Department of Education for significantly improved school attendance, and for performing better than other local schools.  Thank you again, and please keep up the good work.

Parent Cafe ☕

A reminder that Parent Cafe happens each Wednesday morning in the Orchard from 9am.  Mrs Fillan, Miss Scarfe and Mrs O'Brien are there to help with any matters relating to SEND, medical or attendance.

Reception Open Evening 👩‍👩‍👧‍👦

It was wonderful to see so many parents and families who visited our Reception classes this week.  If you were unable to make it and would like to find out more about a Reception place for September 2026, please contact the Willow office.

Parking 🚗

Please can we ask that you park considerately when dropping off and collecting children.  Cars should not be parked on pavements.  The safety of our children is the most important thing and this may mean you need to park slightly further away from school and walk to the building.  Local council wardens are aware of the parking issues and may be in the area soon.

Advance Notice - Winter Fair 🎅

Our annual Winter Fair will be held on Friday 12th December from 1:15pm in the Sycamore Hall.  Put the date in your diary so you don't miss the chance to visit Santa! There will be lots of things to buy and games to play and prizes to be won! Come along and support our annual festive fundraising event.

Christmas Jumper Day

Friday 12th December - 50p donations towards school funds.

Vacancy

We currently have a vacancy for a Learning Support Assistant.  This is a temporary post working with our younger children.  If you are interested in applying more details can be found via this link:
