Dear Parents and Carers,

This week

It has been another busy week with the re-launch of WOW! -the walk to school scheme.  Strider the mascot joined us on Tuesday morning and the children enjoyed a fun assembly learning about safe and healthy ways to get to school.

On Thursday morning KS2 children were treated to a musical concert by the Bradford Music Service.  We listened to some well- known pieces, including some songs from Encanto.  It was fabulous to listen to, and to learn more about the instruments being played.

Next week

Year 6 are visiting Eden Camp (Appleton class on Monday, Cartwright class on Tuesday), to end unit of learning all about World War 2.  They are leaving promptly at 9am, so please ensure they arrive at school on time.

Arbor Parent Portal

We are now using the parent portal to send messages to you about school matters such as clubs, absences, school closures, non-uniform days etc.

For this reason, you must sign into your account to access the portal.  To do this download the Arbor app from Google Play or Apple App Store

End of Spring Term

This is the final newsletter for the Spring Term.  School closes for children on Tuesday 8^th April at 3:15pm and reopens for all pupils on Tuesday 22nd April at 8:45am.  Happy holidays when they finally arrive.

Little Wandle - Letters And Sounds.

The resources on this site will help you support your child with saying their sounds and writing their letters. There are also some useful videos so you can see how they are taught at school and feel confident about supporting their reading at home.
