Dear Parents and Carers,
What a warm week it has been! Despite the sunshine, our children have been busy enjoying some fantastic learning opportunities both in and out of school.
Our Year 6 pupils took part in a fascinating Stained Glass Window Workshop, where they explored this beautiful art form and created their own designs. They also enjoyed a visit to Saltaire, bringing their learning to life through a memorable educational trip.
Our Year 5 pupils have had an exciting trip on their Cultural School Swap Residential with our partner school in Barrow-in-Furness. They have even spent the night camping! We can't wait to hear all about their adventures when they return.
Meanwhile, Year 4 visited the magnificent St George's Hall to take part in the Hallé Orchestra event. As well as enjoying a wonderful musical performance, the children proudly played their recorders alongside pupils from many other schools - a fantastic experience in such an impressive venue.
A Few Reminders
As the warm weather continues, please ensure your child brings a named water bottle to school each day. Water bottles are also available to purchase from the school office if needed.
We also recommend that children wear a sun hat to school to help keep them safe and comfortable during playtimes and outdoor activities.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We hope you all have a lovely weekend!
Best Wishes from Miss Loughlin and all the staff at St Stephen's
