Dear Parents and Carers,
What a busy week it has been!
Photographs
All the children who were in school on Wednesday have had their photographs taken, you should have received information via your child on how to order the photographs if you would like them.
World Book Day
On Thursday we celebrated World Book Day. We had a very special collective worship - 'The Masked Reader', some of the teachers had read stories in disguise and we had to guess who they were before the big reveal! Who knew dinosaurs could read so well.
Special Visitors
This week we have also hosted some special visitors from Broughton-in-Furness CE Primary School, Cumbria! Children in years 5 and 6 from the school have come to us as part of a developing cultural exchange programme. The children have been teamed up with a group of St Stephen's pupils. They have spent time exploring Bradford including a visit to the Science and Media Museum, the local mosque and an overnight stay at St Stephen's Church. It has been great getting to know each other and a lot of fun! St Stephen's pupils will be going to visit Broughton-in-Furness CE Primary later in the school year.
Have a lovely weekend everyone.
Best Wishes from Miss Loughlin and all the staff at St Stephen's.
