Dear Parents and Carers,
Safer Internet Day
Children across school will be marking Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 10th February. They will be learning how to stay safe online. If you as a parent have any questions about online safety please do get in touch for more advice and support.
Young Voices
On Tuesday evening some of our year 6 children and teachers will be attending the Young Voices concert in Sheffield. They have been learning a variety of songs for several months and will join with thousands of other children to sing these songs and celebrate their efforts. Look out for information of how the event went in next week's newsletter.
Year 5 Egyptian Day
Year 5 Jowett will be visiting Bagshaw museum on Thursday 12th to take part in an Egyptian themed day. Salt class had a great time so I am sure Jowett will enjoy it just as much.
Book Fair
The book fair will be in school next week. It will be open after school on Monday and Tuesday until 4pm and during Learning Reviews on Wednesday and Thursday. The more books that are bought, the more commission we earn to buy books for school. Please do support this if you can.
Learning Review
Learning Reviews are on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th February for Reception to Year 6. If you have not booked a time in the Arbor app, an appointment will be sent to you on Monday via your child. Nursery Learning Reviews are happening at different times - please speak to Miss Lewis for more information.
Advance notice
School closes next Friday - 13th February at 12:45pm for half term holidays. We re-open at 8:45am on Monday 23rd February.
Calling All Families
Do you have any old magazines or newspapers at home? Year 6 would be grateful for donations to use in an exciting art project.
We hope you all have a lovely weekend.
Best wishes from Miss Loughlin and all the staff at St Stephen's.
