ISSUE 106 - 30th January 2026

Dear Parents and Carers,

Year 1 and Year 5 Visits

Year 1 Delius and Year 5 Salt both enjoyed their respective visits this week.  Delius class visited a local synagogue and were able to compare how the synagogue looks to a mosque and church.  Salt class had a great time pretending to be archaeologists hunting for Ancient Egyptian artefacts, and learning more about the process of mummification.

Next week:

Year 1 Hockney class are visiting a local synagogue as part of their RE learning about other faiths and cultures, and Year 3 will be visiting a Hindu Temple as part of their RE lessons.  Do ask them about their visit and look out for more information in next week's newsletter.

Learning Reviews:

Learning Reviews appointments can now be booked via the Arbor Parent App.  Please book your appointments by Friday 6th February to get the time you prefer.

Water Bottles

All children need to have a water bottle in school for use during the school day.  We cannot provide cups due to risk of spillage.  If your child has lost their water bottle, new ones can be bought from the Sycamore office for £2:50.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Best wishes from Miss Loughlin and all the staff at St Stephen's.
