Children took part in creating a paper-based pictogram. Each child voted for their favourite colour and added their vote to the class pictogram, keeping their coloured circle in a column to make it easier to read the data.

Children then created a digital pictogram on the computer. The pictogram showed how teachers travelled to school. Children had to input the data as an image in the correct data column, then answer questions using their finished pictograms to help them.
